A. I’m NEW to ExpressOnline, How can I enrol my BPIE Star Account?

  1. Visit www.bpieuropeplc.com.
  2. Click ONLINE BANKING.
  3. You will be redirected to www.bpiexpressonline.com.
  4. Click APPLY NOW-EXPRESS ONLINE.
  5. Choose: To enroll your BPI Europe account, click here .
  6. Click I AGREE if you do.
  7. Fill in all required information.
  8. Under ACCOUNT NUMBERS, fill in your 6-digit sort code (235441 or 232732), immediately followed by your 8-digit account number.
  9. Select CURRENCY of your STAR account.
  10. Under TYPE OF ACCOUNT, tick SAVINGS for STAR Savings, or CHECKING for STAR Current, or TIME DEPOSIT for STAR Plus Account.
  11. Tick the Agreement Clause if you want to proceed.
  12. Click SUBMIT.
  13. The Express Online Registration Form for BPI Europe Clients document will appear.
  14. Click PRINT/SUBMIT to print this document.
  15. Affix your signature on the printed document.
  16. Post the signed enrolment registration to our Earl’s Court office.
  17. Wait for an email advice from bpiexpressonline. Inform us of you still could not view your BPIE account online 5 banking days from the time you posted your application.

 

B. I am an existing ExpressOnline user, how can I enrol my BPIE STAR Account?

  1. Do steps 1-3 from Question A.
  2. Log in to expressonline using your existing username and password.
  3. Under MY PORTFOLIO dropdown, click Enrol Additional Accounts.
  4. Tick- - - I am enrolling: Other Accounts.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Tick Other Deposit Accounts and in field1, encode 6-digit BPIE STAR sort code (235441 0r 232732) immediately followed by your 8-digit account number. Use field2 in case you have another BPIE STAR account.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Keep a record of the confirmation receipt.
  9. Wait for an email advice from bpiexpressonline. Inform us if you still could not view your BPIE account online 3 banking days from the time you submitted your application.

 

C. I am already a BPI Europe ExpressOnline user, how can I enrol my OWN BPI/BPIFB/BPID ATM Account?

  1. Do steps 1-3 from Question A.
  2. Log in to expressonline using your existing username and password.
  3. Under MY PORTFOLIO dropdown, click Enrol Additional Accounts.
  4. Tick- - - I am enrolling: Savings and Checking Accounts.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Under Savings/Checking Account Numbers, encode your BPI/BPIFB/BPID ATM account number and JAI.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Keep a record of the confirmation receipt.
  9. Wait for an email advice from bpiexpressonline. Inform us if you still could not view your BPIE account online 3 banking days from the time you submitted your application.

PLEASE NOTE: After enrolment processing, MY PORTFOLIO will display details of YOUR OWN
BPIE STAR account and BPI/BPIFB/BPID ATM accounts.

 

D. How can I enrol a Third Party Account or MY BPI/BPIFB PASSBOOK Account as a Transaction Beneficiary? (Third Party Accounts refer to BPI/BPIFB/BPI Direct accounts owned by someone else.)

  1. Do steps 1-3 from Question A.
  2. Log in to expressonline using your existing username and password.
  3. Under FUNDS TRANSFER & EXCHANGE dropdown, click Enroll Third Party Accounts.
  4. Tick the method of enrollment most convenient to you.
  5. For Your ATM Card Number, choose your BPIE STAR account from the dropdown.
  6. Fill in Third Party Information or YOUR BPI/BPIFB PASSBOOK account details. Account Name and Account Number should match.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Click Submit & Print.
  9. Affix you signature on the printed document.
  10. Post the signed Third Party enrolment form to our Earl’s Court office. Processing time by BPIE is within 3 days from receipt of this form.

PLEASE NOTE: After enrolment processing, MY PORTFOLIO will NOT display details of Third Party/Your Passbook accounts. These accounts will appear in the dropdown list of receiving/beneficiary accounts when you do a Foreign Exchange/Remittance/Funds Transfer Transaction (see Question E, item 5).

 

E. How to Do a Remittance Transaction via BPIE EXPRESSONLINE?

  1. Do steps 1-3 from Question A.
  2. Log in to expressonline using your existing username and password.
  3. From FUNDS TRANSFER & EXCHANGE dropdown, click
    Foreign Exchange>BPI Europe Accounts>Transfer Now.
    (Click FX Rates to inquire current exchange rates.)
  4. Select your BPIE STAR as the source account. Next screen appears.
  5. Select your receiving/beneficiary account. The TO dropdown will list only EOL-enrolled OWN and THIRD PARTY accounts.
  6. Encode the principal amount to be exchanged. Do NOT include the remittance service charge as this will be posted as separate item.
  7. You may put in any description or particulars in the REMARKS field for your reference.
  8. Click CONTINUE. Next window appears.
  9. Note the Applicable Exchange Rate, Proceeds and Service Charge for this transaction. Click CONTINUE to proceed. IMPORTANT:  THE EXCHANGE RATE, PROCEEDS AND SERVICE CHARGE INDICATED THEREIN ARE CORRECT AT THE TIME YOU ARE DOING YOUR TRANSACTION. BY PROCEEDING, YOU AGREE TO AND CONFIRM THE INFORMATION THEREIN AND NOT FROM ANY OTHER SECTION OF THE BPI WEBSITE.
  10. Summary of your intended transaction appears. Click OK to confirm.
  11. A confirmation page of the transaction just completed appears. At this point, your BPIE STAR account has been deducted by the principal remittance amount and the applicable service charge. Your receiving/beneficiary account has also just been credited the remittance proceeds.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • ExpressOnline is EXCLUSIVE to BPI Europe and BPI/BPIFB/BPID deposit accounts only.
  • BPI Europe ExpressOnline is not available to business accounts nor personal accountholders engaged in or deemed engaged in the money transfer business.
  • BPI Europe ExpressOnline is not available to pay your Philippine bills, i.e., PLDT, Insurance, Meralco, etc. Use your BPI/BPIFB/BPID account instead for this purpose.
  • For certain types of transactions, in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations, additional documents on proofs of source of funds and purpose of remittance will be requested before processing your transaction.

 

F. How to pay-in to / deposit to / credit your BPI Europe STAR.account?

  1. Make a FASTER PAYMENT or ONLINE TRANSFER from your other UK account to YOUR BPIE STAR account (subject to clearing within BPIE business hours).
  2. Do an over-the-counter deposit at BPI Europe-Earl’s Court. Please do NOT make any CASH deposit to our Natwest or Barclays account.
  3. Post us a cheque, payable to yourself.  Indicate your BPI Europe sort code and account number at the back of the cheque (subject to a 6-banking days clearing period).
  4. Make a bank transfer/payment (online banking/telephone banking/personal banking) from your other UK Bank account to your BPI Europe account (subject to a 3-banking days clearing period).
  5. Set up a Standing Order (STO) request from your other UK Bank account for regular transfers to your BPI Europe account.

PLEASE NOTE: Your BPIE account will be credited as soon as we verify receipt of your funds/pay in. We will advise you of other pay-in options in due course.

 

G. How to withdraw from/Debit against Your BPI Europe STAR Account?

  1. Do an over-the-counter withdrawal at BPI Europe-Earl’s Court office. Advise us a day earlier if you needed to withdraw over GBP1,000.00 in cash.
  2. Do a remittance transaction via BPI Europe ExpressOnline (see Section E).
  3. Instruct us to debit your BPIE STAR account in favour of a Philippine beneficiary via a remittance transaction (regular remittance charges apply).
  4. Instruct us to debit your BPIE STAR account and make an online bank transfer to YOUR OWN UK bank account (subject to a 3-banking days clearing period).
  5. Instruct us to debit your BPIE STAR account a make a CHAPS/same day online bank transfer to YOUR OWN UK bank account (subject to cut-off time and service charges).
  6. Do a funds transfer (same currency) via BPI Europe ExpressOnline from your BPIE STAR account to another BPIE STAR account (subject to pre enrolment and service charges).

 

H. How to do your remittance transactions (available to BPI Europe Accountholders only):

  1. Via your BPIE STAR account:  over-the-counter or over-the-phone or via expressonline.
  2. Over-the-counter at BPI Europe Earl’s Court:  Cash, Cheque (subject to clearing) or Debit/Credit Card
  3. Over-the-counter at BPI Europe Threadneedle:  Debit/Credit Card only
  4. By paying in to this account (internet transfer, telephone banking, personal banking or bank teller) with the following details:

IMPORTANT:

  • Ensure your NAME is always indicated as REFERENCE when you pay-in to this account.
  • Ring or email us immediately to confirm your transaction for processing.  Transaction will only be processed upon receipt both of your instruction AND funds.
  • Above account is for REMITTANCE TRANSACTION USE only.
  • DO NOT pay in cheques to this account.
  • Cash handling fees, where applicable, will be charged for pay-ins (cash or transfers) made thru a Barclays Bank Teller.

REMINDER: 

For certain types of transactions, in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations, additional documents on proofs of source of funds and purpose of remittance will be requested before processing of your remittance.
